How you can support The Black Dog Project
Black Dog welcomes and encourages the involvement and support from individuals and businesses in the community and those working in community health. Simply tell a friend about Black Dog … pass on the website link to those you know … register your support as a ‘friend’ of Black Dog on the home page … pop in regularly to follow the Black Dog blog posts and Army of Ink Diaries and pass them on to others … sponsor the gifting of Black Dog publications …
Sponsorship/Donations:
Our sponsorship/donation facility below allows individuals and companies to sponsor the gifting of a book(s) and/or postcard collection (pictured above) to those going through a tough time – particularly young people. The way this works … Black Dog identifies community groups that wish to use the books and postcards as a counselling tool or to gift directly to someone they’re supporting. Eg. 45 copies of In My Room ($1,350) and 25 packs of the 21 Friends postcard ($375) collection have been donated directly to young people through Youth Focus. This process of donation ensures that those who receive Black Dog gifts are adequately supported by a qualified counsellor.
Dollars aside, it is the simple gesture of giving that has the very real potential of warming hearts and soothing suffering souls. Interested but would like more information, love to hear from you, please contact us.
