Mind’s Scream

caught in mime

Caught In Mime .

I wonder….why it is easier to crash, than to stop.   Why a smile is easier to dredge across my face, that to allow a tear to roll, a fear to tumble.  Why to fake is easier, than to exhibit a flaw.  Why the spin holds me tighter than the stillness of my own place.  Why silence roars and the mind’s scream  is caught in mime.

Footnote:  Drawing Harley sent me saying; “Don’t worry, I’m feeling fine”.  Ditto for the poem I wrote – although that’s what we always say isn’t it?   And some might not see this as consoling in any way, but if you know what this feels like, then it could be consoling to at least know you’re not alone.
