Sweet Pea Body Confidence

 

 

She’s a cowgirl in boots with sandwiches

and all the time in the world.   

Thundering through thickets with no story

or thoughts of bodily shame.

 

Body confidence is a struggle…

Anatomically, the body, regardless of size, shape, colour, age, ability, gender, imposed ideals and history … is the most especially wondrous thing.

When checking the grammar of ‘especially wondrous’, it said:  ‘Especially wondrous that she remained hopeful despite everything and … ‘Especially wondrous is that a tiny seed* can become a giant tree.’

Sweet Pea is such a blazing little soul to have on side, with her mantra for self compassion;

‘KEEP AN ARM AROUND THE SHOULDER’  (Below).

Footnote:  Sweet Pea’s seed dropped on a walk amidst giant Tingle trees on Minang boodja in Walpole, Western Australia, in November 2023.  She’s been such a savior in the separation of the past from the now and the ‘ME’; the wrangling of rage into KILLER GOOD; and practicing self compassion – KEEP AN ARM AROUND THE SHOULDER (with less guilt).
